Since the inception of our Community Energy Marketer program in 2009, UTILITYnet has helped many new competitive Community Energy Marketers enter into Alberta’s deregulated market. The program features a low-cost business model that offers a unique opportunity for those looking to create a new revenue stream either for themselves, or to fund community programs and infrastructure. It is now possible for entrepreneurs, cooperatives and municipalities to enter the electricity and natural gas market with low-risk and minimal cost.
